Holly Witteman, PhD
Dr. Witteman completed her Ph.D. in Human Factors Engineering at the University of Toronto and is currently Associate Professor, Department of Family and Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Laval University, Director of Research, Office of Education and Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, Laval University, Scientist, CERSSPL-UL and CHU de Québec-Université Laval, Affiliate Investigator, Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.
She researches in eHealth and Human-Computer Interaction. Specific research interests include modeling health information needs as a function of individual characteristics and preferences; development of novel methods for increasing the personal relevance of Web-based health information; visualization methods for communicating complex numerical information; design, usability and impact of Websites; online decision aids; and other online influences in individuals' health decision-making.
