Education and Training
Lauren completed her bachelor’s degree in International Development and her master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph.
Research Interests and Expertise
Lauren’s research interests include economic evaluation and infectious diseases, particularly vaccine preventable diseases. She is most interested in diseases that can be addressed at the population level. Some of her projects have included an economic evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of measles control, a review of the cost-effectiveness of universal Hepatitis B immunization, and a report on the impact of repeated influenza vaccination. She is currently supporting ongoing projects focusing on Zika virus and Lyme disease.
