Rebecca Hancock-Howard, BSc, MSc, PhD
Rebecca Hancock-Howard has earned a bachelor of science degree in life sciences from Queen's University, a master's of science from the department of pharmacology at the University of Toronto, and received her PhD from U of T's Institute of Medical Science. Her doctoral dissertation used discrete choice methods to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of a health information intervention for pregnant women. In 2013 Rebecca joined the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care's Health System Strategy and Policy Division's Planning, Research and Analysis Branch as a Senior Health Economist in the Economic Analysis and Evaluation Unit. Her research interests include measurement of patient preferences and health technology assessment of interventions targeting maternal and child health and rare diseases.
