Sarah Bermingham, BSc, MSc
Research Associate / Health Economist
Sarah Bermingham is a research associate at THETA and health economist at Health Quality Ontario. She is currently seconded to work at Health Quality Ontario (HQO).
Education and Training
She holds a bachelor's degree in physiology from the University of St Andrews and a master's in international health policy from the London School of Economics. Prior to joining the team at THETA, she spent three years as a health economist at the UK's National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), systematically reviewing economic literature and developing original economic models for the following clinical guidelines: infection prevention and control, the diagnosis and management of peripheral arterial disease, and hepatitis B.
Research Interests and Expertise
Sarah's interests include multiple comparator decision analytic modelling, network meta analysis, preference-based mapping of quality of life indices, and value of information analysis.
