Education and Training
Ryan completed his undergraduate degree in pharmacology at McMaster University. He has worked in a number of research settings including laboratories at the University of Toronto & Mount Sinai Hospital, as well as clinics at CAMH & Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He has training in economic evaluation, biostatistics, and the analysis of health administrative data.

Research Interests and Expertise
Ryan’s research interests are focused on the use of health administrative data to evaluate the burden of infectious diseases and the cost-effectiveness of preventative interventions. His thesis work involves the use of population-based datasets to explore the burden of pneumococcal disease, and inform economic evaluations of preventative strategies.
