Education and Training
Dr. Wong received her medical degree from the University of Hong Kong and postgraduate training in Pediatric Medicine and Neonatal Intensive Care in Hong Kong, Glasgow and London. She obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (U.K.), Diploma of Child Health (Ireland), Diploma of Child Health (London), Specialist Accreditation in Pediatric Medicine (Singapore), training and Licence in Acupuncture (Singapore), postgraduate certificate in Clinical Trial Design and Management in Biotechnology (San Francisco State University), training in biotechnology and bioinformatics and certificate in Stem Cell Technology (San Francisco City College). She was a staff research associate in clinical research and NIH/FDA trials with the University of California, San Francisco.

Research Interests and Expertise
Dr. Wong is involved in the Understanding the Treatment Benefits of Novel Antiviral Agents for Hepatitis C Utility Study and Economic Modeling to Estimate Hepatitis C Provincial and National Drug Plan Expenditures. She is interested in conducting community-based pragmatic trials and randomized controlled trials on pharmaceuticals, biologics, devices and alternative therapies.
