Education and Training
Marina holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Business from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Western University. Prior to starting her doctoral studies, Marina spent several years leading and contributing to evidence reviews to support public drug funding recommendations in Canada. Marina has also contributed to the development of clinical practice guidelines and has completed evidence syntheses across a range of therapeutic areas. She has training in management and leadership, epidemiology and biostatistics, evidence appraisal, economic evaluation, and decision analytic modeling.

Research Interests and Expertise
Marina’s research interests are focused on the use and advancement of health technology assessment methodologies (e.g., decision analytics and evidence synthesis) to support the optimal allocation of health care resources.
