Education and Training

Dr. Widjaja is a Neuroradiologist, Diagnostic Imaging, and Associate Scientist, Research Institute, Neurosciences & Mental Health, the Hospital for Sick Children; Associate Professor, Medical Imaging, University of Toronto. Dr. Widjaja graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She undertook radiology residency at North Staffordshire NHS, UK, followed by Neuroradiology fellowship at Sheffield Teaching Hospital, UK and further fellowship training in paediatric neuroradiology at SickKids.

Research Interests and Expertise

Dr. Widjaja specializes in brain imaging in children, particularly in epilepsy imaging. Dr. Widjaja is interested in outcomes research and imaging in pediatric population, specifically pediatric epilepsy. Dr.

  • better understanding of how epilepsy affects children’s brain
  • outcomes of epilepsy surgery in children,
  • health-care resource use in children with
