The Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM) North American Annual Meeting 

SMDM conducts an annual North American meeting each fall. The meeting will provide a highly interactive forum for discussion of novel research based on decision and behaviour theory and analytical models applied to health-related decisions. Presentations of original research, keynote talks, special symposia and short courses will offer attendees the opportunity to explore diverse topics in medical decision making.


The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) Symposium 

CADTH hosts its annual symposium in various Canadian cities. The pan-Canadian agency delivers evidence-based information to health care leaders, and to decision- and policy-makers. CADTH’s relevant and timely products and services — including advice, recommendations, and tools — help decision-makers achieve value for money and outstanding health outcomes.


The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) 

ISPOR promotes worldwide the science of pharmacoeconomics (health economics) and outcomes research (the scientific discipline that evaluates the effect of health care interventions on patient well-being including clinical, economic, and patient-centered outcomes) and facilitates the translation of this research into useful information for healthcare decision-makers to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and fairness of health care to improve health. ISPOR convenes 3 meetings each year: one in North America (spring), one in Europe (fall), and alternating years in Latin America or Asia-Pacific (September) with attendance at ~3000, ~3500, ~900, respectively with over 3300 presentations collectively each year.


The Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR) 

CAHSPR) is a multidisciplinary association dedicated to improving health and health care by advancing the quality, relevance, and application of research on health services and health policy. As the largest and most diverse association of its kind in Canada, CAHSPR provides members with unique opportunities for networking, research collaboration, and career advancement.


HTAi Annual Meetings 

HTAi's Annual Meetings, held each year in May, June or July, are key international gatherings for sharing the latest research, advancing discussions in policy and methods, and building global networks. HTAi's Annual Meetings are run by local host organizations, supported by an International Scientific Program Committee and the HTAi Annual Meeting Committee. Host organizations are selected through a competitive bidding process.


The International Health Economics Association 

iHEA Congresses are well established as the forum to hear new work in health economics and meet colleagues from around the globe. The International Health Economics Association was formed to increase communication among health economists, foster a higher standard of debate in the application of economics to health and health care systems, and assist young researchers at the start of their careers.


The Canadian Association of Wound Care (CAWC) 

CAWC is a non-profit organization of healthcare professionals, researchers, corporate supporters, patients and caregivers dedicated to the advancement of wound care in Canada. Since 1995, the CAWC through the efforts of its professional volunteers has enhanced the skills and knowledge of health professionals through our annual professional conference and educational events held in communities across Canada.


The Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control (ARCC) Conference 

ARCC is a Pan-Canadian research organization with a commitment to tackle existing and emerging challenges in cancer control. Our mission is to make improvements across the cancer control spectrum through interdisciplinary leadership in health economics, services, policy and ethics, and knowledge translation.
