Peter Dixon MD (Resident), MSc student at IHPME University of Toronto received a Harry Barberian Scholarship Award 2019 and Karen Chung, MD, BHSc (Hon), MSc (student) at IHPME University of Toronto was awarded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship.


Peter Dixon MD, Resident in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and MSc student in Clinical Epidemiology and Healthcare Research at Institute of Health Policy, Management & Evaluation, University of Toronto received a Harry Barberian Scholarship Award 2019.

Karen Chung, MD, MSc (student) & BHSc (Hon) in Health Sciences with a Specialization in Global Health from McMaster University, MD at Queen's University, and a plastic and reconstructive surgery resident at the University of Toronto was awarded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship. The objective of the Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master's (CGS M) Program is to help develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies.
